More activities July ’26
Although keeping cool throughout our hot Summer was our priority it didn’t stop the activities teams working hard to create wonderful outcomes for our residents. We continued to be visited by our out outside entertainers, Dementia Singing Experience Sussex (DSES), Dance Hastings, our local church for in house services, a fabulous drumming workshop, and we had a wonderful afternoon with singing entertainment from Elvis.
The regular activities on our monthly planner all went ahead; flower arranging, tea tasting, bingo, sensory activities, book reading, pampering with Natalie our hairdresser and manicures, games, helping with domestic chores, jewellery making, bowls, parachute games, balloon tennis, cheese tasting, gardening, exercise sessions, clay work and many celebratory birthdays.
One of our excited residents had the pleasure of attending the wedding of a her granddaughter. We were honoured to take her shopping for a special outfit and accompany her to the day.
