Residential Care

For anyone interested in a long term placement at Coast Care, we are able to accept residents at reasonably short notice by undertaking an initial assessment to identify the needs of an individual prior to admission. Assessing a prospective resident is essential to make sure we can accommodate and care for any needs in the very best possible way. Our East Sussex care homes provide care for different levels of need.

Starting the Move to Long Term Care

The first step in deciding on any care home is to make contact and book an appointment to view. You can do this via the online form or use the details on our contact page.

We will always do our best to arrange a viewing at a time convenient to you and we will answer any queries or concerns that you might have. We encourage clients to have short stay breaks in our care homes before they require long term care. This often reduces anxiety and provides reassurance that any future long term placement in our homes will be an easier transition for the individual.

The majority of our residents come from Kent and Sussex and are familiar with the area, although we are happy to take in residents from any area who are keen on our homes and would like to live in a sea side town. We have provided some useful resources here to organisations that have detailed advice for people considering the move to residential care.
