At Coast Care Homes we always welcome those who require short stay, respite care. Often this provides residents and their families a much needed break, which helps to prevent carer breakdown and allows someone to remain at home for longer.
All our Homes in Bexhill and St Leonards, provide a positive loving approach to caring for elderly people with memory loss and physical health conditions. By training, ongoing learning and progressive development we are continuously updating our skills to provide the best care for our clients with varied emotional and care needs.
Supporting Carers with Respite Care
If you are caring for someone on your own or with little support, we understand that at times the pressures of this can become overwhelming. Sometimes carers themselves need to visit hospital or simply need a break. We can offer respite care to suit your circumstances, for a period as short as 2-3 nights upwards. The cared for can benefit as much as the carer from a short break, often the change of scenery, company, different activities, and pleasant surrounding will the individual long after their stay.

Day Care
At Coast Care Homes we appreciate the need for day care support residents or their family members, in order to help break up the day and have social stimulation. All of our homes provide Day Care services, and this can range from just a few hours to all day. Our Day Care services include all meals throughout the day, as well as access to our activities and minibus program. Day Care sessions can be tailored specifically for the residents needs and can include assistance with showering, nail care, hair washing etc.
We can provide pickup and drop off for the resident each day and as our vehicles are wheelchair accessible, we can accept day care clients no matter their physical abilities.
