Enjoying the warm weather
July’s warm weather gave residents the chance to make the most of the outdoors, enjoying garden activities, seaside walks, local outings, and al fresco dining. Residents also celebrated personal highlights, including harvesting home-grown tomatoes and an evening out at Combe Haven, where one resident enjoyed the slot machines and a meal in the restaurant.
The Coast Care bus and cars continue to provide valuable opportunities for residents to stay connected with the local community. During the extreme heat, bus trips were temporarily paused, with suitable residents instead enjoying individual one-to-one outings to ensure their comfort and wellbeing.
