St Patrick’s Day

On 17th March, Whitebriars came alive with colour and cheer as we celebrated Ireland’s St. Patrick’s Day. Residents enjoyed a lively party featuring traditional music, dancing, and singing that had everyone tapping their feet.

In the lead-up to the event, residents worked on beautiful themed artwork, which was proudly displayed throughout the building in the communal areas.

A highlight for many was the chance to bake traditional Irish Soda Bread — a much-loved staple in Irish kitchens.

Of course, no St. Patrick’s Day celebration would be complete without a Guinness or two! Residents also indulged in homemade treats, including coffee and Baileys cake and classic Irish rock cakes, which were the perfect pairing for an afternoon of celebration.
