Out and about in February ’24

We are very proud at Coast Care to own two busses which regularly take our residents on large, small or one to one trips into the community. Each home has access to the busses twice a week, when all residents are offered to take part in the trips.

Come rain or shine the busses get out. Throughout the Winter we are limited to where we can go, so throughout February we have mainly been to many local cafes, trips to a local garden centres, mystery sightseeing tours and shopping trips.

Residents have loved the various locations for tea and cake, morning breakfasts and lunch.

Opportunities are given to residents for their birthdays to choose a location for a one to one trip. In February a local museum was requested and also Hastings Aquarium, a lovely memorable way to celebrate a birthday.
