Our residents enjoy spending time in the community

 

We maintain a schedule of 2 to 3 bus trips from each of our homes every week. Additionally, we operate 2 wheelchair-accessible cars, providing personalised trips for residents who would benefit from this person-centered activity. Residents are also encouraged to take walks to the local parks, the promenade, and nearby shops, accompanied by a carer.

In April, residents had a delightful time exploring various local destinations, including garden centres, Raystead animal rescue, several local farms, cafes, charity shops, supermarkets, local fast-food restaurants, train rides, Rye Harbour boat trips, a Hastings Town FC football matches, trips to the cinema, and visits to our holiday home at Combe Haven holiday park.

We continuously seek out new and exciting places to visit, ensuring that residents have a diverse range of locations to choose from.
