One to one person-centred care

At Coast Care we believe in a person-centred approach to our care. We aim to find out as much as possible about each resident when they arrive, their likes, dislikes, interests and hobbies, and as much about their working and family life as we can. All of this information is shared with all of the teams, enabling everyone to quickly learn about the resident.

We run a ‘resident of the day’ programme, ensuring every resident has something special just for them on that day. This could be something simple like a pamper and quiet chat or game, or it could be a one to one trip out to a restaurant or local cafe, or a chosen place of interest.

On a residents birthday they will receive a specially chosen gift and a personalised birthday cake made by our kitchen teams.

We also celebrate our fabulous staff team. In March it was ‘International Womens Day’. Each member of the Whitebeach team received a bunch of flowers from Vlad the manager, a show of respect and appreciation.
