More activities September ’25
September’s activity planner was packed with a wide variety of activities for all of our residents to enjoy. Our bus trips, departing from each home two to three times every week, included visits to local garden centres and cafés, a car show, church services, and West St Leonards Primary Academy for Garden Club — a wonderful collaboration we continue to share with the school. We also travelled on foot to local parks and along the seafront promenade.
We welcomed a range of engaging visitors throughout the month, including Sarah from The Painted Ladies, who delivered vibrant creative art sessions, a lively drum workshop, and DSES (Dementia Singing Experience Sussex), who brought wonderfully fun music and dance sessions. Petpals delighted residents by bringing sheep into our homes, while a local church continued to provide regular spiritual services. We also enjoyed a very special visit from some wolves, which residents and staff alike absolutely loved.
Alongside our regular activities, we celebrated Oktoberfest and took part in armchair travel to Ireland. Residents enjoyed making mocktails and indulging in cheese and chocolate tasting sessions.
We also took time to celebrate our amazing staff teams with our quarterly awards, recognising their dedication and hard work.
