More activities May ’25
Our fabulous activity teams continue to work hard across all of our homes, putting person-centred care at the heart of everything they do. They plan and deliver a wide range of original, engaging group activities, alongside smaller, one-to-one sessions, each tailored to suit the individual interests and preferences of our residents.
One of the highlights continues to be our regular bus trips, which run two to three times each week from every home. In May, residents made the most of the lovely spring weather with visits to local cafés, garden centres, libraries, the seafront, and more. A special highlight was a day trip to the zoo, fulfilling a personal wish for one of our residents.
All of our regular activities were also on offer throughout May, including:
Quizzes
baking afternoon
music therapy
Pamper sessions
Reminiscence activities (with a focus on International Nurses Day)
Indoor and outdoor gardening
Group and floor games
Visits from Natalie, our wonderful hairdresser

Helping with chores (e.g. table laying, supper preparation)

Many birthday celebrations
Our teams are passionate about creating joyful, meaningful experiences that enhance well-being and foster a strong sense of community—and May was no exception!
