More activities March ’25
Another month of varied activities across all four of our homes, Whitebriars, Whitecliff, Whitebeach and the Coast Care Centre.
Our activities teams work very hard creating a planner that offers many different activities for all of our residents and their interests.
There were many celebration days in March including, Mothers day, Comic relief, International Womens day, Holi, St Patricks Day, Shove Tuesday, and St Davids Day. We celebrated all of these.
The regular activities that took place were; parachute games, ipad’s for reminiscing, bingo, manicure’s and pedicures, baking, sensory activities, floor games, indoor gardening, visiting hairdresser, flower arranging, puzzles, felt art, silent disco, quizes, tea parties, volley ball and arts and crafts.
We also welcomed Glow Baby who regularly visit bringing some lovely intergenerational moments between our residents and the young children from the parent and child group. DSES (Dementia singing East Sussex) bring fun music and dance sessions to all of our homes. We were also priveliged to have the Pevensey Ukuele band bring some welcomed entertainment to the Coast Care Centre and Sam from Lifesize entertained residents at Whitecliff in their bedrooms for some lovely gentle personcentred music entertainment.
