More Activities June ’24
As we approach the summer season, our residents and activity teams have been busy preparing for individual Summer parties in each home. Themes have been chosen, and during our art sessions, residents are making props and decorations. Sarah from ‘The Painted Ladies’ has been instrumental, leading fantastic creative sessions that will be showcased at our events.
Regular Visits and Special Guests
Glow Baby: We continued to host ‘Glow Baby’, a mother and baby group that fosters intergenerational bonding. These sessions are heartwarming and cherished by all participants.
Pet Pals: Residents enjoyed visits from ‘Pet Pals’, with opportunities to interact with various animals both in communal areas and in their own rooms.
Dementia Singing Experience Sussex: This group brought joy and laughter with their musical afternoons, becoming a beloved addition to our regular activities.
Duckling Hatching Experience
In June, we welcomed duckling eggs, and by the end of the month, residents and staff were thrilled to witness the hatching process. We eagerly anticipate more ducklings joining us in July.
Special Performances
A local drumming band delighted residents with an afternoon performance in the garden, adding a rhythmic highlight to our activities.
