More Activities January ’24

January was again a busy month full of a wide range of activities for residents to partake in. There were themed days, a hug day, Burns night celebrations, Wild West day, Winnie the Pooh day and a visit from Baby Glow intergenerational day. Residents had an afternoon of discussing the bird life in our gardens and then made bird feeders, keeping the wildlife healthy through the Winter months. Fun was had by experimenting with photography, residents were really creative. Sarah from ‘The Painted Ladies’ supported our teams with some fabulous art sessions.

We also continued to have the regular activities of Bingo, games, arts and crafts, flower arranging, floor games, baking, parachute games, book club, exercise therapy, karaoke, reminicsing sessions, afternoon teas, residents helping with chores including making soup for supper, regular bus trips continued and residents had the opportunity to go on local walks.

We celebrated residents birthdays and a special birthday of a member of our maintenance team.
