More Activities February ’24

The month of February included several special celebration days at Coast Care. We enjoyed Valentines day, pancake day, Disney day, Chinese new year, and Waitangi day. Many of activities were themed around these events.

We welcomed ‘Glow baby’ to Whitebriars for the first time. This intergenerational event was a huge success, we look forward to welcoming the mother and baby session again later this year.

Regular activities of exercise therapy, pamper sessions of manicures, pedicures and regular visits from our hairdresser Natalie, book club, puzzles, reminiscing, arts and crafts, making food for the birds, baking and pizza making, parachute games, music therapy, flower arranging, curling, drumming, volley ball, bingo and one to one bedroom activities.

We said goodbye to our volunteer students who have been a asset to our teams, we wish them well for their futures working in social care/nursing.
