More Activities August ’24

In August, both Whitecliff Nursing Home and Whitebeach Residential Home hosted their highly anticipated Summer parties, which brought great joy to residents and staff alike. Additionally, Whitebeach Residential Home held a special event, ‘Kids Messy Play,’ which was thoroughly enjoyed by the younger visitors and residents. These celebrations kept the month vibrant and busy as our activities teams worked hard to make the events a success.
Special Visitors:
- We were delighted to welcome back Sarah from ‘The Painted Ladies’ who supports our activity teams with some wonderful creative projects and Lauren from the local organisation ‘Glow Baby,’ who coordinated our parent and child pre-school play sessions. These visits continue to be a highlight for residents, who look forward to their interactive and heartwarming sessions.
Person-Centered Activities:
- In line with our commitment to providing one-to-one, person-centered care, we made sure to tailor activities to suit each resident’s needs. This included outings, interactive reminiscence sessions using iPads, and sensory activities, ensuring that every resident received meaningful and engaging interactions.
