More activities April ’25

April was a vibrant and eventful month at Coast Care Homes, we marked several important occasions, including Easter, St George’s Day, National Book Day, the anniversary of human space travel, and our popular armchair travel sessions—this month, we explored the sights, sounds, and cultures of India and Jamaica.
We were delighted to welcome a local ukulele band who brought music and cheer to Whitebriars. We also had some fantastic visits from The Dementia Singing Experience Sussex, a voluntary organisation that never fails to bring joy, laughter, and energy.
We also held some staff awards, where we celebrated some of our incredible team members for their hard work and dedication. We had the pleasure of celebrating several resident birthdays, each one marked in a personalised way with cakes, thoughtful gifts, and birthday treats. One resident chose a Chinese takeaway to make her day extra special!
Our varied programme of meaningful and engaging activities continued throughout the month. Regular sessions included pamper time, balloon tennis, one-to-one outings and in-home sessions, arts and crafts, baking, reminiscence activities using the iPad, puzzles, paper weaving, flower arranging, word games, parachute games, papier-mâché planet making, floor games, and gardening.
