More Activities April ’24

 

To spark engaging conversations, we celebrated several themed days in April, including Mother Earth Day, St. George’s Day, a Circus themed day, and a day dedicated to photographic experimentation. During these events, we delve into the theme through discussions, collaborate with our kitchen teams who create delicious and appropriate treats, and express our creativity through themed arts and crafts sessions.

In our monthly planner, we host a variety of regular activities. This month’s lineup featured person-centred iPad use, quizzes, flower arranging, gardening (indoors and outdoors), music therapy, floor games, baking sessions, balloon games, reminiscing sessions, in-house church services, puppet making, curling, arts and crafts (including visits from ‘The Painted Ladies’), sensory activities, jewellery making, exercise therapy, and the game ‘Who am I?’

We celebrated many birthdays in April, the kitchen teams created some truly wonderful delicious cakes. Staff and residents got together to celebrate a baby shower for our Whitebeach manager Vlad.

Furthermore, we conducted our regular staff training sessions, and Whitecliff recognised and awarded some well-deserved awards during their staff meeting.
