It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Once the decorations went up on the 1st December, the celebrations could begin.

Many of the art and craft projects where Christmas themed, our communal areas were full of festive colour. Residents  also made snow globes and enjoyed festive baking.

We welcomed outside entertainers and choirs from our local church and school, we also had our regular visit from DSES (Dementia Singing Experience Sussex).

We went out for Christmas lunches in local pubs, visited the White Rock theatre for the pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk and also the De La Warr for ‘the elves and the shoemaker’, but the high light was evening bus trips to Westfield to see the Christmas lights. This wonderful festive trip included hot chocolate and mincepies on the bus.
