At Coast Care Homes, we are dedicated to ensuring that our residents have access to enriching experiences both within the home and out in the community. We are fortunate to have two minibuses and three wheelchair-accessible cars, which enable us to run a wide range of trips designed to suit all residents. Whether it’s a full bus trip, smaller group outings, or one-on-one excursions, we ensure that every resident has the opportunity to participate in activities that interest them.

Weekly Outings

Our buses leave each home two to three times a week, taking residents on various excursions into the community. These trips are open to all residents, and everyone is encouraged to take part. Whether it’s a short trip or a full day out, these outings provide our residents with the chance to explore new places, enjoy fresh air, and experience the local culture and scenery.

Holiday Home at Combe Haven

One of our most exciting offerings is the opportunity for residents to visit our holiday home at the Combe Haven site in St Leonards. This wonderful resource allows residents to enjoy a variety of activities, including swimming, visiting the penny arcades, watching live entertainment, and dining at the on-site restaurant. Whether it’s a group outing or a one-on-one trip, residents always look forward to these special visits.

Seasonal Enjoyment

As the summer winds down, we have been taking full advantage of the late summer sunshine. Many residents have enjoyed leisurely strolls along the seafront, which often lead to a treat of ice cream or a relaxing cup of tea and cake. These simple pleasures have become a regular and much-loved activity, offering a great way to enjoy the outdoors.

Personalised Trips

In addition to group outings, we also cater to individual interests and preferences. For example, one resident with a passion for horses chose to celebrate her birthday by visiting a local stable, where she could connect with the animals she loves. These personalized trips are a key part of our commitment to providing person-centered care and ensuring that every resident has the opportunity to engage in activities that bring them joy.
