Birthday celebrations
At our home, we celebrate every resident’s birthday in a way that reflects our person-centred approach to care. Each celebration is tailored to the individual, ensuring their special day is meaningful and enjoyable.
Every resident receives a cake of their choice, a small gift, and the opportunity to celebrate however they wish. Some enjoy a party with fellow residents, others prefer to spend time with family, while some choose a quieter celebration.
June was a particularly busy month for birthdays, including the incredible milestone of one resident turning 102 years old! We also celebrated our bus driver, Ian’s birthday, during a trip to a local café, making it a special occasion for everyone involved.
