More September activities
September was a busy and enjoyable month, celebrating the arrival of autumn with harvest donations to our local food bank and seasonal arts and crafts. Residents enjoyed their regular activities and visits from DSES, our local church, Sarah from The Painted Ladies, Dance Hastings and our hairdresser Natalie.
Special events included Oktoberfest preparations, a drumming workshop, Pirate Day with a treasure hunt, an awards ceremony and a specialist exercise programme.
Congratulations to Pete and the Whitebriars team for winning this year’s Coast Care Group hanging basket competition, with their outstanding floral display. Pete was quick to praise the team effort behind their success.
Staff training continues as part of our ongoing commitment to development, and our night teams enjoyed a well-deserved team-building evening at the local bowling alley, which was competitive and fun.
