More activities May ’26
May brought glorious weather, giving residents plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Many spent time gardening, playing games, chatting with friends, and dining al fresco, while also making the most of our varied programme of bus trips.
We were delighted to welcome Dance Hastings once again, whose lively music and dance sessions brought lots of fun. Their flamenco performance was a wonderful addition to an armchair trip to Spain at Whitecliff.
Residents also enjoyed in-house spiritual services led by our local church, while football fans came together for an afternoon of FA Cup fun in preparation for the World Cup celebrations in June.
The Coast Care Centre’s cake sale was a great success. Throughout the month, residents also enjoyed making mocktails, baking sausage rolls and cakes, and helping to prepare suppers, pamper sessions of manicures and hairdressing visits, quizzes, floor games, board games, puzzles, silent disco, horse racing games and bingo, making May a month full of, creativity, and shared experiences.
