We Remember Them
Remembrance day is a meaningful date in everyone’s calendar, and it is a significant for our residents and staff too. We watched the televised coverage on Sunday the 9th, as well as the commemorations on the 11th. Time was set aside for residents to reflect and reminisce about their own memories of times of conflict, and to remember those we have lost.
Some residents attended a local commemorative march in Bexhill, where we were able to lay a wreath.
Arts and crafts activities were themed around the occasion, and residents proudly wore their poppies throughout the day.
