Upon a resident’s admission, we gather comprehensive information about their life, family, work, and interests. This information is shared with our entire team to ensure everyone understands the resident’s likes and dislikes, enabling us to offer truly personalised care.

Our activities program is designed to cater to individual needs, offering both one-to-one activities and small group sessions. This allows us to maintain a high level of personal engagement and support for each resident.

We have implemented a ‘Resident of the Day’ program, where each day, a resident is chosen to receive special attention. A member of the activities team collaborates with the resident to plan a meaningful activity. This could range from a simple game or a quiet chat to an exciting trip. For instance, in May, one resident enjoyed a trip to see a West Ham football match, while another had a memorable visit to Drusillas animal park.

Birthdays at Coast Care Homes are celebrated with great enthusiasm. Each resident receives a personalised gift and a specially themed birthday cake created by our talented kitchen team, ensuring their day is memorable.
